Tononi Violin

Description:
The back is formed by two pieces of maple cut on the quarter and is marked by a mild, medium-broad horizontal figure. The sides are of plain maple with occasional faint figure. The table is cut from two pieces of spruce with very narrow grain at the center and widening toward the flanks. The scroll is carved of plain maple. In a double case containing a Tourte bow.
Additional Information: violin; The varnish has a golden brown color and shows considerable wear on the back.
