Japanese Inro, River Bank
Description:Inro, four compartments and lid, Edo period, 18th century. Lacquer on wood with decoration in gold powder and leaf, slight relief willows on river bank with gabions. Predominant color gold with plaited purple silk cord. Formerly in Alexander G. Mosle collection.
