Document of a folio consisting of a certificate of payment granted by the senior officer Calderón, in the absence of the accountant of the Administration of Excises de Lima, referring to the payment of duty made by Pedro Isasi for the freedom of his slave José; granted in Lima on 18 July 1780. It is handwritten in italics and has a printed seal at the top, with a coat of arms in the middle, and a faint reddish seal at the bottom left. The document is in a regular state of preservation, showing slight burns, folding near the left edge and dirt on the upper edge.
