Cartier cigarette box. Silver, with horizontal pink and yellow gold inlaid stripes. Bakelite feet. Coral thumbpiece. The right and left-hand sides of the lid set with a nephrite panel framed in gold, with oriental coral and gold motif. The center of the lid is set with an 18th century Chinese mother-of-pearl lacque burgaute landscape scene. The interior is lined with sandalwood (center divider missing).
