Dragonflies surround the edge of this globe-shaped shade. The wings are blue with green and yellow mottling, the bodies and eyes are green. The background (in reflected light) looks green with grey mottles; (in transmitted light) it is yellow with green mottles. The six semi-spherical jewels on each insect are orange and yellow. Mosaic dragonfly base, similar in shape to the mushroom base. The base is covered with tiny pieces of greenish-blue mosaic, spotted with orange. Three dragonflies in high relief upon the base. Fine-spun bronze wires spiral up the stem; mosaic glitters between.
